Modded vim
never seen this build done before so i thought i might post it..
me and my bud light of your death started using it today.
Instead of 2 blackout or poison warriors take 2 choking gas rangers instead. does the same thing as the warriors except it allows for better balling up. we got pretty far with it and works well even against balanced builds and if you play it right dual smite. well leave your ideas on this build

In my opinion, ViM has got to be the most boring build out there. Haven't played it much, but against it with decent teams, matches always take so long. Kinda like smite ball. I did however see on good trapping build, but it wasn't ViM at all, it was using 2-3 rangers and they'd use epidemic or something, allowing them to spread conditions heavily, and still have all the utility of a balanced group. I think they used signet of humility to counter restore condition. Anyway, I'd say a choking gas ranger would work well with vim, but then conditions will be your only source of damage. The nice thing is, you won't have to overextend to blackout a monk. Many vim groups fall apart when their warriors die. It also has better altar potential, but still, a non-spike build with no warriors...not sure how much pressure you can create if you're not causing pure damage as well.

You have 2 kinds of vim:
-"Camp" ViM, who balls up and wait till the foes suicide.
-"Rush" Vim, who will rush in, trap every choke point and add pressure to everybody.
While Rush vim is by far the best option in non-altar maps, most unranked vim groups just think camp vim is better (wich is false, really).
I completely agree that camp vim is somewhat the most boring build out there, but playing rush vim is just as fun as playing a balance.
Back on topic: I really like the idea, especially because it would increase holding power etc. But can you post the complete skillbar?

take flurry instead of frenzy, because your goal as a cg ranger isn't max damage output.

Good luck with keeping those choking gas rangers alive when they don't have Victory Is Mine... healing spring can't out heal everything you know.
